Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the short course "Model building, inference and hypothesis testing in conceptual hydrological modelling".

The course will be held in Esch/Alzette (Luxembourg) on 20-24 April 2015 (the week following EGU) at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

The course is designed for Master and PhD students interested in the fundamentals of hydrological model building and uncertainty analysis.
The course combines theory and practical exercises, and includes a 1-day fieldtrip to three experimental catchments in Luxembourg, which will then be used in the modelling exercises.

Our invited lecturers are Dmitri Kavetski (University of Adelaide, Australia), Mark Thyer (University of Adelaide, Australia), Fabrizio Fenicia (Eawag, Switzerland), Benjamin Renard (IRSTEA, France) and Laurent Pfister (LIST, Luxembourg).

Please visit the website: http://hydrocourse.list.lu for further details, or send an email directly to the course organizers (hydrocourse@list.lu)

You can also download a course flyer here:
