Technische Universitaet Dresden is one of eleven German
Universities of Excellence. An important aspect of our institutional
strategy "The Synergetic University" is to attract and further develop
outstanding researchers.
Following the successful programme "Open Topic Tenure Track
Professorships", TU Dresden now seeks to fill

20 Open Topic Postdoc Positions
by 1st November 2017

with researchers at advanced postdoc level whose doctoral
thesis is dating back no more than 6 years.

These positions are an attractive opportunity for personal
development in an excellent environment. During the employment
the selected candidates are expected to submit applications for
support of their own subsequent research projects to renowned
funding agencies. In addition, the employment period shall be used
to explore further career opportunities at TU Dresden and the
DRESDEN-concept partner institutions.

The decisive selection criterium is the applicant?s demonstrated
excellence in innovative research areas fitting into the general profile of TU Dresden. Furthermore, a convincing concept for a future third-party funded research project, e.g. for an Emmy Noether research
group, shall be submitted.

TU Dresden supports equal employment opportunities for women

. one to two-year employment (salary according to E 13 TV-L or E 14
TV-L, and in accordance with WissZeitVG) or an equivalent research
