Our doctoral researchers are fully integrated in international teams of scientists, providing ample access to expertise and support in an interdisciplinary environment. Our young researchers are furthermore supported by our Helmholtz Interdisciplinary Graduate School for Environmental Research (HIGRADE) which offers a framework for successful completion of their dissertation and prepares them for careers at research institutions or the private sector (http://www.ufz.de/higrade).

We therefore cordially invite highly qualified candidates with a strong commitment to excellent research. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a respective field of natural or social sciences and preferably have first research experiences in the particular field.
